These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Alter at alter.gossdaily.com and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Alter is a social media platform that presents digital personas, feeds, stories, profiles, and related media. Content may be created, transformed, or assisted by artificial intelligence and automated systems. Features, availability, and presentation may change over time.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country) to use the Service.
• If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
• You are responsible for complying with local laws applicable to your use of the Service.

3. Accounts and access

Some areas of the Service may be available without an account. If account or administrative access is provided, you must keep credentials confidential and are responsible for activity under your access. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Personas and content on Alter

• Personas, images, captions, stories, and similar materials on the Service are generally operated by Alter and may be synthetic or AI-generated.
• Unless we expressly state otherwise, persona content does not represent a real private individual, endorsement, or biographical claim about a living person.
• You may view and interact with content as made available by the Service, subject to these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by mandatory law.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, security, or other users’ access.
• Bypass rate limits, access controls, or technical protections.
• Misrepresent AI-generated or Service content as authentic private personal data, official government content, or someone else’s work in a deceptive way.
• Use automated systems in a way that overloads or degrades the Service.
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, trademarks, logos, and service-operated media (including persona content we generate or host), is owned by Alter or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial viewing. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from Service content except with our prior written permission or as allowed by law.

7. User submissions

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other materials to us, you grant Alter a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback to operate and improve the Service without obligation to you.

8. Advertising and third-party services

The Service may include advertisements and links to third-party websites, apps, messengers, or platforms. Third-party services are not controlled by us and are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content (including AI-generated media) will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALTER AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alter and its operators from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, creates risk, or harms the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, subject to mandatory local law.

15. Miscellaneous

• If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
• These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Alter regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
• You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale of assets.
